Wilmington Alto Saxophone

The world deserves a saxophone that is made well, plays great and in tune and is completely repairable. The Wilmington Alto Sax is exactly that. An amazingly solid and well-made saxophone that is not unbelievably expensive.

This Alto was designed according to the specifications of The Sax Pro Shop and using a lot of techniques they learned from all of their factory visits over the years. The Sax Pro Shop altered bore taper, tone hole locations, and key design. The Wilmington alto is a great no-nonsense instrument, standing up mechanically against many professional models. It plays with a warm, clean tone and has a big low end. The entire body is made of nickel silver, which we believe is a factor in its resonant and rich character of the sound. This material is very hard and resists denting and bending. The body is sandblasted inside and out for a satin finish and coated with clear lacquer.

Comes with a stock mouthpiece and ligature, a swab, microfiber polishing cloth, cork grease, Ultimax Key Oil, and a backpack style reinforced case.

Every item we sell(unless stated) is new, but not "New in Box". Every saxophone is inspected, play tested, and adjusted at the Sax ProShop, and additionally inspected here in Calgary Alberta.
