Description
Used Trombone mouthpieces will be listed here. Each may have defects and evidence of wear from their life of being played.
Four solid used trombone mouthpieces, all cleaned and ready to play. Here's a quick rundown of each:
Yamaha 48 — The mouthpiece that ships with most new Yamaha student trombones, and for good reason. Medium cup, comfortable rim, balanced response from top to bottom. A reliable all-around piece that works for beginners and experienced players alike.
Bach 12C — A smaller, brighter mouthpiece with a medium cup and a crisp, focused tone. Popular for lead trombone in jazz and commercial settings where you need to cut through. Also a common starting point for students moving up from a beginner piece.
Vincent Bach Corp 12 — Same size family as the 12C, from an earlier era of Bach production. These older Corp-stamped pieces are well regarded by players who seek them out specifically. Good tone and solid build, made to the same exacting standards Bach built its name on.
Bach 6½AL — One of the most widely played trombone mouthpieces ever made. Medium-deep cup, medium-wide rim, and a warm, rounded tone that sits well in orchestras, concert bands, and just about anywhere else. If you're looking for a versatile everyday mouthpiece, this is a safe bet.
All four pieces have been fully cleaned and sanitized. Normal cosmetic wear may be visible, but nothing that affects playability. A great way to pick up a proven mouthpiece at a used price.
