Description
Sticky keys on soprano saxophone almost always come down to the same three pads: G#, Eb, and C#. These are the pads that close under spring tension and stay closed — which means moisture gets trapped and pad leather starts to break down. Key Leaves props them open after you finish playing, letting air circulate and the pads dry completely before the next session.
The leaf-shaped props are designed to touch only the tone hole and resonator, never the pad leather itself. No damage, no residue, no risk to any finish. Soft-touch nylon is safe on lacquer, silver plate, and bare brass alike.
Works with any straight or curved soprano saxophone. Takes a few seconds to set up, and you can leave them in place for daily airing out or long-term storage. The string knot slides to double the length, or can be retied for four times the length to reach across different key configurations.
Patented and made in the USA. The preferred soprano care method of Roxy Coss, Chika Inoue, Alex Singleton, and a growing roster of professional players.
Note: opening G# with low C# may not work on saxophones made before 1930.
