The floor stand for saxophone is made from solid hardwood, the only exceptions being the two solid brass connector bolts, and one steel bolt that secures the base to the rest of the stand. The base is supported by felt feet which allows the stand to slide, rather than tip if someone accidentally bumps the stand. All of the rigidity is instead put into the saxophone touch points. The rubber surfaces are specially designed to hold the instrument gently but firmly hold onto your instrument.

All components can detach for easy transportation and storage.
