Description
The Pagoda barrel's distinctive exterior shape isn't decorative. The unusual profile redistributes mass along the barrel in a way that optimizes how resonance transfers between the mouthpiece and the body of the instrument — a design choice that affects tone and response in ways a standard cylindrical barrel can't.
The M7 is built from stabilized maple — wood that has been treated to eliminate the cracking and warping that natural wood barrels are prone to in changing humidity and temperature conditions. You get the acoustic character of real wood with the dimensional stability of a synthetic material. Carbon fiber rings add a further layer of reinforcement. A barrel designed to stay consistent through Calgary winters and summer heat alike.
The M7 features an oval/tapered bore — slightly more open than the conical bore of the M7S, and positioned toward the wider end of the Pagoda lineup. Uversa World's four models get progressively wider from M6 through M7S, with the M6 being the only traditional bore design and all others featuring unique bore geometries. The M7's tapered design suits players who want more openness and airflow than the M6 models offer, with a touch more resistance and focus than the fully conical M7S.
CNC machined for precision and consistency throughout.
