The plastic thumb hook that ships on most saxophones is functional, but it's not the last word on comfort. The BSS aluminum thumb hook is a direct drop-in replacement — lightweight, anodized, and noticeably more comfortable under the thumb during extended playing. It gives a secure, confident feel that players notice immediately, and the reduction in right-hand strain adds up over long rehearsals and gigs.

Works on soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone. Fits most instruments with a removable thumb hook. If your saxophone doesn't have a removable hook, we can install a thumb hook base in-shop for an additional cost.
