Description

Légère's Synthetic clarinet reeds come in four different reed cuts and provide a player with flexibility in their tone and sound without compromising quality. Perfect for players who switch instruments or live in dryer climates as synthetic reeds don't need to be wet to work.

The Classic for clarinet is a reliable and durable option, providing a dark, focused tone with long-lasting playability. Ideal for students and marching band players, this reed offers consistent, mellow sound and blends well in ensemble settings. While it lacks the flexibility of premium cuts, it excels in providing dependable performance. The Classic is a great choice for those seeking a stable, easy-to-maintain reed that performs well in a variety of settings. Its durability and consistency make it perfect for beginners and long practice sessions.

The Signature Series reeds  produce a warm, rich tone in all registers. Signature Series reeds are made from a stiffer material and are cut thinner than our Classic reeds. These changes make the Signature Series reeds more flexible across the tip, producing a full spectrum of overtones and a beautiful sound with minimum effort.

The European Cut for clarinet is designed for musicians who seek a reed with superior tonal richness and stability. This reed produces a bright, colorful tone with a ideal for orchestral and chamber music. Known for its easy response this reed offers consistent performance across all registers. The European Cut is our recommended general purpose reed for clarinetists due to its ability to provide both warmth and clarity in a variety of musical settings.

The French Cut for clarinet delivers a dark, rich tone ideal for advancing clarinet players. Designed for classical musicians, it provides a focused, warm sound and smooth dynamics. The French Cut reed is known for its consistent resistance and superior control, making it perfect for advanced players seeking precision in tone and articulation. Its ability to produce a dark yet clear sound makes it a favorite for those in orchestral settings. The French Cut provides excellent tonal flexibility while ensuring stability, making it a great choice for serious musicians.
