Headjoint Étude Lavoie Flutes

The Lavoie wooden Étude flute head joint is a variation of the symphonic head joint. Made from grenadilla wood, it is easy to play with an expressive, rich woody, round and warm tone.

It features rings that are made from aluminum that will not oxidize or tarnish, and a tenon made from brass. It features a grenadilla with some colour variation, every head joint is a unique piece of craftsmanship.

The outer diameter of the Lavoie head tenon is 19.7 mm and it works on most common flutes. Free tenon fitting by our instrument repair team is included upon purchase. Send us an email and we can even size it to your flute tenon before shipping.
