Forestone Neck Strap

Most neck straps solve comfort by adding bulk — thick neoprene padding that works reasonably well but adds weight and can still dig in at the wrong spots. The Forestone takes a different approach. A specially designed aluminum plate spreader bar keeps the strap wide at any adjustment height, which means no pinching or narrowing even when pulled all the way up. The result is a strap that's genuinely comfortable without needing padding to get there.

Two material options suit different playing situations and preferences.

The nylon version is soft and light — far more comfortable than typical nylon straps that dig into the neck, and a great choice for soprano, alto, and tenor players who want something minimal and easy to wear for long sessions. Recommended for smaller saxophones.

The leather version is supple and padded with a centre gap that takes pressure off the spine and puts the weight on the trapezius instead. That weight distribution makes a real difference on a long gig or rehearsal. The leather breaks in over time and only gets more comfortable with use. Better suited to tenor and baritone players where instrument weight is a real factor.

The aluminum spreader bar keeps both versions remarkably light for what they do. Works on every saxophone from soprano to baritone.

Available in medium and large — the large runs approximately 25mm longer. Alto and soprano players should generally choose medium; tenor and baritone players should choose large. Buy in-store and we can customize the cord length to fit you and your instrument.
