Forestone Bamboo W Blast Reed

A Sythetic French Filed cut reed with 52% bamboo material inside, mixed with Carbon powder.It features a special surface treatment for extra projection and a fuller sound. Available for French Clarinet, Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Baritone Sax.  

This is a synthetic reed that you can forget about as you play it. It lacks the hardness on the tongue associated with other synthetic reeds, and doesn't feel quite as slippery on the lips. It also doesn't seem to dullen the sound in comparison to other synthetics. It has a focused dark tone, but isn't dull. In someways it seems to share some tonal similarities to BSS Black box reed. It is mouthpiece friendly. It should outlast many reeds, and with it's consistancy you can purchase a new one and expect it to play similar. Wash it with soap and water and rotate between a pair to extend it's life.

MH strength feels like a 3 reed, and the H strength is like a  3.5 reed.
