Flute Indepth Maintenance Service (COA)

This is a maintenance service for a flute. If your instrument is in decent condition this will help maintain it, so that it can maintain a higher level of play-ability for longer. This is a service taking about 10 hours of labor.

For the best longevity of your instrument we recommend a service every 2000hrs of playing. Splitting the cost over 2000 hours is only 13 cents per hour of play, or about a dollar per day of play.

If your instrument hasn't had repair in 10-20 years it may be time for it to be rebuilt.

This service includes

1.Dissasembly

2.Check kicker materials(key feet felts)

3.Clean pads and check to make sure they are in good condition

4. Clean the key tubing

5.Add new oil to keys and rollers.

6. Reassemble and check pad seal (reshim pads for better pad seal)

7.Adjust the regulation(keys opening and closing together)

8.Adjust the pinky table keys heights so they are even and level.

9. Check the key opening heights

10. Check the Spring tension.

Anything not mentioned is not included. Parts used will be billed separately. Additional damage not included will be billed separately. Please understand an amount of up to 150$ of parts may be charged in addition depending on the quantity of parts replaced.
