Clarinet Indepth Maintenance Service (COA)

This is a maintenance service for your clarinet or bass clarinet. If your instrument is in decent condition this will help maintain it, so that it can maintain a higher level of play-ability for longer. This is a service taking about 10 hours of labour for bass clarinet or 8 for Bb Clarinet.

We completely disassemble your instrument to clean the body and remove old black abrasive oil from all mechanisms and keys. We clean out the tone-holes, oil the wood and inspect for cracks.

If your instrument hasn't had repair in 10-20 years it may be time for it to be rebuilt. in that case we may not be able to bring it into peak condition. Parts will an additional fee charged upon completion. Horrible damage will be an addition cost, to be quoted at consultation.

This service includes

-Full disassembly of the instrument

-Cleaning on individual keys by hand

-Up to a maximum of 5 pads to be replaced. Additional pads will be charge at a rate of 100$ per pad.

-Instrument keys are lubricated

-Instrument keys are regulated.

- Tenon corks may be replaced.

-Key heights are recorded and adjusted.

Anything not mentioned is not included. Parts used will be billed separately. Additional damage not included will be billed separately.
