The SAV is where Chedeville's two flagship models meet. The Umbra brings darkness and warmth. The Elite brings clean articulation and free-blowing response. The SAV takes both qualities and builds them into a single mouthpiece — the dark, rich tone colour of the Umbra with the clarity and ease of articulation that makes the Elite so playable.

That combination is harder to achieve than it sounds. Warm, dark mouthpieces often sacrifice articulation definition. Clean, bright mouthpieces often sacrifice tonal depth. The SAV doesn't ask you to give up either. The result is a mouthpiece with genuine tonal flexibility — expressive and colourful, responsive and clear — that works across a wide range of playing contexts without feeling like a compromise.

Made from German hard rod rubber and manufactured at the Chedeville factory in Savannah, Georgia with CNC precision and expert hand finishing.

Three tip openings cover the most common playing preferences. Size 1 (1.00mm) is the tightest and most resistant — focused and controlled. Size 2 (1.07mm) sits in the versatile middle. Size 3 (1.15mm) opens up for players who want more flexibility and dynamic range.
