Ponzol M2 Plus Stainless Steel Soprano Mouthpiece

Most metal mouthpieces are made from brass or bronze alloys — materials that require plating to be safe, and plating that eventually wears away. Peter Ponzol took a different approach. Surgical stainless steel doesn't require plating, so no unsafe chemicals are ever used in production, there's no plating to wear or flake, and the mouthpiece will show very little wear even after decades of use. It's a safer, more durable material choice that holds up in a way plated brass simply can't match.

The M2 Plus is the brightest and most powerful model in the Ponzol lineup. The medium chamber and high baffle push the tone toward bright and projecting — immediate, punchy, and built to cut through a loud band without effort. There's enough presence and edge here to be heard clearly in any setting, with the punch and power that soprano players in contemporary, R&B, and commercial contexts reach for.
