Description
The Ponzol Custom Baritone is built to make the big horn sound serious. Bright and powerful with real complexity and depth in the tone — the step baffle and medium chamber give it a focused, projecting character that carries across a full band without losing the low-end weight that makes baritone sound like baritone. Presence and power, with enough richness behind it to keep the tone musical rather than simply loud.
Machined from Delrin — a high-tech synthetic with acoustic properties comparable to hard rubber, but more precisely machinable, more dimensionally stable, and more durable over time. It won't warp, discolour, or shift character with age or humidity. Consistent performance from day one to wherever the mouthpiece ends up.
Every mouthpiece is designed, finished, and play-tested by Peter Ponzol personally.
