Model C Mouthpiece RCW

Where the Model K leans toward brilliance and projection, the Model C takes a step in a different direction. The deeper baffle adds bottom-end weight to the tone, giving the sound more body and cover without giving up the power that RCW mouthpieces are known for. It's still a strong, present mouthpiece — just with a darker, more rounded character that suits players who want orchestral depth and warmth over cutting brightness.

If the Model K is built to project through an orchestra, the Model C is built to sit inside one — warm, full, and controlled, with the kind of covered quality that blends well in a section while still having real presence and projection available when the music calls for it.

Like every piece in the RCW lineup, the Model C is CNC machined in-house from dense hard rubber, then hand-faced, sanded, and play-tested over several days. The finishing work is where each mouthpiece's individual character is brought out — not an afterthought, but a central part of how RCW builds their mouthpieces.

The machined blank stays cool during production, resulting in a denser, more resonant rubber than molded alternatives can produce.
