Description
Drop one in, blow it through, done. Herco Spitballs are lightweight foam balls that shoot through brass instrument tubing, picking up moisture and light buildup as they go. Fast, satisfying, and genuinely effective for keeping tubing cleaner between full cleanings.
Regular use prevents residue from accumulating in the first place — which means less work when it's time for a proper deep clean and better instrument health in the long run.
If you're using them in a small-bore French horn, cut the ball in half before use to avoid it getting stuck.
Not a substitute for a full cleaning, but a great habit to build into daily playing.
