It took a pilgrimage to Europe, meeting players from all backgrounds and styles, to finalize the concept that would become the Euro Signature Bb Mouthpiece. Stepping out of his comfort zone, Richard Hawkins embraced the larger-than-life mouthpieces that are currently popular among many European Artists. For a big robust sound that is easy to articulate, a proprietary hard-rod rubber was selected for its ability to hold all dynamics with clarity and control, without the edge that is common in so many large-facing designs. Named for the continent on which it was developed and tested, the Euro Signature Bb Mouthpiece by Hawkins and Backun is worth getting out of your comfort zone for!

*Tip from Hawkins: To re-lubricate signature mouthpiece o-rings, use a drop of almond oil or a tiny bit of cork grease on the inner wall of the barrel top tenon to improve ease of use.
